Chic Home Haunted House

October has finally arrived and YES I tend to have more fun decorating for Halloween then I do for Christmas.  $ seems to be no object for me when I am out shopping for Halloween.  I just can’t resist a creepy ghost, black crows, spider webs, hanging bats, or a spooky goblin.  Must be my creative side coming out and runnnnning wild.   Halloween decorations are down from the attic, my Halloween costume has just arrived so let’s turn on a little Michael Jackson “THRILLER” and watch this haunted house come alive!ahhahhahh  ahhahhhaaahhhahh!!!

There is only ONE rule to follow- noooo tackiness allowed!!  Sorrryyy… now let’s get to work!

Here is a sneak peek into this Chic Home Haunted House. Take a look if you dare!

Honey, why do I get the feeling someone is watching us?

Skelton heads peek through my window.

Black crows flock to my mantel covered with spider webs.

Some crazy goblins appeared out of no where!

You better run from these goblins!!

Your not afraid of a little spider?  Are you?

Okay now I am really creeped out….

I was never a fan of scary movies…eeekkk

Candy anyone?? How about a donation to the Ellie Fund this October in honor of breast cancer awareness?

This guys looks good even under my crystal chandelier.

Mice are every where…..and where there is one there are many more….

Love my 7 foot tall spooky witch who will light up the night on Halloween.

What are you wearing this Halloween?

Happy Halloween

I have such a passion for discovering, refinishing and repurposing great furnishings. I shop consignment shops, thrift stores, craigslist and of course antique shops to find those special unique pieces. I paint, sand, antique, glaze whatever it may be to bring new life to old furnishings. My life is full of family, good health, happiness, careers, and a very happy well loved home. I have very much to be thankful for in this world that I live today.
